Group Size:    60 Students

 Class Discussion: "Internet Ethics and Safety Issues"

In an attempt to keep students safe on the internet and assure that they use ethical practices, the teacher should require students to participate in a class discussion, which will include the following topics:

1.   Require parental approval for usage.

2.   Discuss the dos’ and don’ts of publishing.

3.   Make sure students know their audience.

4.   Use codes and passwords for students.

5.   The use of obscenities or profanity

6.   Copyright procedures and laws
  

Learning Activity:

The student would use the internet to research for information on any three major organs in their body. They would outline the functions of the organs and the different processes of the organs. After the students have gathered the information the student would put together a three page report which should included pictures and a diagram, share it with the class, by providing a link to the class blog.

Internet Engine: Log on to the internet, in the search box type in one or more word related to what you are looking for and it would search for that information.
